Yes, you may always access the Museum as a current member without your cards. Visit any Membership or Visitor Services desk in the Museum to verify your current membership status. You will be issued a temporary member ticket for that visit so that you may enjoy your member discounts in the stores, cafeteria, restaurant, and parking garage.

Yes, all membership categories include an exhibition ticket and unlimited free general admission for all children in your life (18 and under).
Guests that are not covered by your membership enjoy half-price general admission. That’s only $10 each for up to 10 guests. Use this benefit when you’re at the Museum with your guests, or purchase discounted admission for your guests in advance by contacting Member Services.

An Artist membership will be available to anyone who works in a medium that's represented in the Museum’s collection, including painting, sculpture, drawing, prints, photography, film, video, craft, and digital media. Applicants are required to present documentation of how they share their work with the public. A website, Instagram or Facebook account, Etsy page, or a postcard of a past or upcoming exhibition will work just fine. To purchase an Artist membership online, send an example of your work by fax to or email to . Member Services will then contact you with a promotional code that will allow you to complete the transaction online. If you sent your payment through the mail, your membership will be processed once proof of artwork is received
Proof of full-time enrollment status is required to purchase a Student membership. Please present a current and valid ID when purchasing at the Museum. To purchase a Student membership online, send a copy of your current and valid ID by fax to or email to . Member Services will then contact you with a promotional code that will allow you to complete the transaction online. If you sent your payment through the mail, your membership will be processed once proof of full-time student status is received.
Access to many of the Museum’s exhibitions is included in general admission, and therefore members may see them unlimited times for free. For ticketed exhibitions, members must reserve their allotted complimentary tickets for a specific date and time. Once you have reserved your tickets, we will either mail them to you or place them at Will Call for you to pick up.

Yes! Automatic renewal is the quickest, easiest way to make sure your membership never expires. Your participation also allows the Museum to conserve resources by eliminating renewal notices. And as our thanks for your ongoing support, you’ll save 10% on the current rate of the level you choose (excluding Artist and Student memberships).
Before automatically renewing your membership each year, we will send you an email detailing the exact date and charge to your card. We will then charge your card at the end of your current membership expiration month and renew it for another year. Credit card information must be current at the time of renewal.

We offer a K-12 educator discount on the membership of your choice (member through Patron levels). You’ll enjoy a year of free access to the Museum, invites to members-only events, $10 guest passes, and discounts on programs, dining, and shopping.
