All programs are included in general admission unless noted otherwise. Kids 12 and under are always free. We are closed December 24–25 and open December 31–January 1.

Tour three Fairmount Park historic homes—Cedar Grove, Woodford, and Lemon Hill—and delight in unique yuletide decorations.

​Trolley departs from and returns to the Museum’s West Entrance. Houses are not wheelchair accessible.

Avoid the holiday hustle in a gallery reserved just for you. Reflect on an artwork, scribble a poem, take a catnap—do whatever helps you recharge for the New Year. 10 minutes per session; sign up early at each location.


DIY Art: Space 1026
5:30–7:30 p.m.
This local artist collective has designed four different in-gallery activities. Grab a printed guide and experience your favorite gallery in a whole new way.


Concert for One
6:00–7:00 p.m.
Enjoy a private serenade in a gallery all to yourself. Concerts are 10 minutes each; sign up early at each location:

Gallery 259: Aaron Parnell Brown—soothing and soulful Philly folk and R&B
Gallery 265: Joy Ike—a powerful voice that pays homage to her Nigerian roots
Gallery 268: Rosali—lush and intimate songs from a folk songstress


Group Sing

McCausland Gallery 116, 1st floor
Composer Emily Bate and artist Patrick Costello lead a pop-up choir through an original piece of music. Previous singing experience not required (or desired).


In-Gallery Gaming: Parlor Games

Philly Improv Theater takes over our British Victorian room to help you while away the winter.

Holiday Family Programs
Great Stair Hall Balcony

Create tiny wonders inspired by the miniatures of Little Ladies and capture their magic in a snow globe. Hop on a Jolly Jaunts tour (11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.), pick up a Holiday Family Guide, and drop by our miniature winter wonderland created by artist Lydia Ricci—she'll be adding her tiny sculptures (and yours) at selected times throughout the week.
